About the position

The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations for Joint Reconstruction at Johnson & Johnson will lead efforts to optimize the business operations within the joint reconstruction sector. This role focuses on driving commercial strategy at the local level, ensuring alignment with business strategies, and supporting sales leaders through data-driven decision-making and effective execution of marketing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support AVP for commercial Business Planning leveraging consistent business planning processes and tools.
  • Ensure coordination of required corporate assets using the One Funnel structure.
  • Provide scorecard reviews for the region using the One Funnel structure.
  • Drive data-driven account target identification with Sales Leadership and Marketing using analytics tools.
  • Ensure customer-facing QBRs are in place for contract compliance discussions.
  • Support one funnel process and required analytics leveraging digital tools.
  • Shape development of new capabilities in CRM, analytics, and other digital tools.
  • Lead regular opportunity/pipeline reviews with Sales Leadership focusing on next actions.
  • Track progress against pipeline and collaborate with sales management to address variances.
  • Lead development of Area implementation plans and activities to close key opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to drive execution.
  • Lead asset allocation to align resources with customer opportunities.
  • Execute in geography Tier 2/3 meetings ensuring cohesive team representation.
  • Serve as power user and lead sales training for CRM and commercial enablement tools.
  • Identify change champions to drive adoption of commercial capabilities and best practices.
  • Communicate critical messages about strategic priorities.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a BA/BS degree or equivalent is required; Business/Marketing/Finance degree preferred.
  • MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant business experience is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in healthcare/medical device marketing, sales, finance, or other commercial experience is required.
  • Orthopedic experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability through influencing and managing change is required.
  • Track record of success in a matrixed organizational environment is preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of customers, business intelligence, and industry trends is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning and project management is preferred.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with a focus on metrics is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and provide comprehensive solutions is required.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills are required.
  • Ability to travel required (~40-50%).
