About the position

As a Senior Manager in Marketing at Miltenyi Biotec, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing biomedical research. Your primary responsibility will be to develop strategies and drive the execution of targeted activities that will enable the development of specific markets and the achievement of North American revenue targets. This includes crafting marketing plans and activities designed to enhance or distinguish the company's placement within the defined market space, encompassing multiple portfolios. You will be tasked with identifying, developing, and maintaining key account customer relationships and key opinion leaders (KOLs). In this role, you will develop business plans and product positioning tailored to meet key strategic and business needs. You will perform market research, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs and KOLs. Regular business analyses and reviews will be conducted to evaluate market performance, allowing you to implement appropriate actions based on measurable metrics. You will also conduct routine market evaluations to assess market penetration, segmentation, and growth opportunities. Collaboration with internal marketing teams, sales teams, KOLs, and physician customers will be essential to identify and evolve effective marketing programs. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing targeted multi-channel marketing campaigns, representing the company in key business meetings, and developing strong working relationships with strategic key accounts. You will be responsible for creating rolling sales forecasts for new and current products, developing tactics and tools to support sales objectives, and coordinating strategic discussions and activities. Additionally, you will lead cross-functional teams to develop strategic and tactical marketing strategies, supervise and train staff, and provide feedback on pricing strategies to maximize long-term market share. Your role will also involve participating in presentations and discussions during district and regional meetings, maintaining high levels of interaction necessary to develop sales opportunities effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in life sciences or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of eight years of experience in product line marketing or equivalent education and experience.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills required.
  • Marketing experience in a regulated field is a plus.
  • Cap Ex experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate a computer with Windows OS, Outlook, CRM databases, and basic MS Office products.
