About the position

The Sr. Manager, Marketing Planning & Strategy at Walmart Connect (WMC) is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives that drive revenue for SMB sellers advertising on the platform. This role requires a strategic B2B marketer with experience in eCommerce, retail media, and ad sales, focusing on creating integrated marketing plans that enhance seller engagement and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Understand product offerings and advertising best practices for sellers' success.
  • Build annual marketing plans and execute integrated B2B marketing initiatives including case studies, presentations, emails, webinars, events, and sales collateral.
  • Leverage data skills to craft compelling messages for the seller audience and influence decision-making.
  • Act as a strategic partner to cross-functional stakeholders in Sales and Product Marketing.
  • Implement systems and processes for efficient cross-functional collaboration and execution.
  • Demonstrate resilience and drive accountability in challenging conversations.
  • Help shape Walmart Connect's culture and goals by building strong relationships and trust.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 8 years' experience in marketing or a related field.
  • B2B marketing strategy expertise with a proven track record of driving revenue at scale.
  • Experience in building and executing integrated marketing plans.
  • Functional knowledge of tools and technologies to optimize marketing efforts.
  • Exceptional verbal, visual, and written storytelling skills.
  • PowerPoint expertise is a must.
  • Impeccable communication and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's in Business Administration or related field.
  • Background in eComm/Retail marketing and/or ad sales marketing with tech companies or agencies.
