About the position

The Sr. Manager, Marketing Planning & Strategy at Walmart Connect (WMC) is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives that drive revenue and support the growth of SMB sellers advertising on the platform. This role requires a strategic B2B marketer with experience in eCommerce, retail media, and ad sales, focusing on integrated marketing plans that enhance seller engagement and performance.

Responsibilities

• Understand product offerings and advertising best practices for sellers' success.
• Build annual marketing plans and execute integrated B2B marketing initiatives including case studies, presentations, emails, webinars, events, and sales collateral.
• Leverage data skills to craft compelling messages for the seller audience and influence decision-making.
• Act as a strategic partner to cross-functional stakeholders in Sales and Product Marketing.
• Implement systems and processes for efficient collaboration and execution of marketing initiatives.
• Demonstrate resilience and accountability in driving results and resolving conflicts.
• Shape Walmart Connect's culture and goals by building strong relationships and modeling emotional intelligence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 8 years' experience in marketing or a related field.
• B2B marketing strategy expertise with a proven track record of driving revenue at scale.
• Experience in building and executing integrated marketing plans.
• Functional knowledge of marketing automation tools and technologies.
• Exceptional verbal, visual, and written storytelling skills.
• PowerPoint expertise and impeccable communication skills.

• Master's in Business Administration or related field.
