About the position

The Senior Manager of Product Implementation and Administration at Point32Health is responsible for supporting the annual assessment of new product strategies and leading key aspects of product implementation and administration processes. This includes managing regulatory filings, overseeing product implementation across the business, and ensuring compliance with CMS requirements. The role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure successful product delivery and involves direct management of Product Specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Support annual assessment of new product strategies in collaboration with Product Strategy counterparts.
  • Lead key aspects of product implementation and administration processes, including annual bid/rate and related filings.
  • Provide guidance on benefit rules and regulations, competitor plan designs, and other relevant information to inform product decisions.
  • Participate in product strategy/bid planning meetings to provide subject matter expertise on product design and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead workgroups to flesh out detailed requirements for product strategy decisions.
  • Oversee the annual new contract/service area application process with CMS.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and complete bid filings with CMS and other regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to lead product implementation efforts.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in resolving issues related to benefit design and delivery.
  • Directly manage one or more Product Specialists and mentor other team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other Master's degree with healthcare focus preferred.
  • 8-10 years of related business experience with three to five years of experience with Medicare insurance products required.
  • At least two years of CMS bid development and filing experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the managed care industry, preferably Medicare Advantage plans.
  • Experience in Product Development and project management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, particularly when interacting across various levels of the organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with applicable software and database programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting critical deadlines.
