The Sr. Manager, Network Security Operations at Haemonetics is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the global wide area network and security systems. This position entails managing security applications, devices, and network infrastructure to ensure comprehensive security across the organization. The incumbent will lead a team comprising both internal and contingent workers, as well as managed service providers, providing daily management and operational support. A key aspect of this role is to monitor and assess security and access across all external and internal systems, identifying vulnerabilities and developing effective remediation plans. The security systems managed will span organizational and functional boundaries, ensuring a unified approach to corporate system and information security while adhering to Haemonetics' policies and procedures. In this role, the Sr. Manager will architect, design, implement, and support solutions for Security, Access, Identity Management, User Provisioning, and Data Protection across various business systems and IT infrastructure. Conducting network vulnerability assessments to identify system needs and remediation plans will be a critical responsibility, along with managing implementation projects. The development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of security policies and procedures will be essential, integrating security and data protection into business processes. The Sr. Manager will also create business cases for investments in systems security, ensuring that business value metrics are included in the architecture, design, and implementation of security initiatives. Additionally, the role involves the management, troubleshooting, and monitoring of firewalls, intrusion prevention/detection systems, enterprise antivirus systems, log management systems, and data leakage prevention systems. The Sr. Manager will monitor security audit and intrusion detection system logs, investigate anomalies, and escalate security violations as necessary, ensuring thorough documentation and reporting of events and preventive actions. Establishing and enforcing security and data protection standards and policies, as well as monitoring adherence to these standards, will be crucial for maintaining the established departmental service level agreements (SLAs). The role also requires the creation and maintenance of end-to-end security and data protection process documentation, utilizing global standard tool sets to support testing, training, and business communications.
