About the position

Kenvue is currently seeking a Senior Manager for Neutrogena Face Communication & Content, a pivotal role within the Kenvue Facial Care portfolio. This position is based in Skillman, NJ, and reports directly to the Commercial Leader of Face Care. The anticipated start date for this role is August 2024. The Senior Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the marketing strategies for Neutrogena Face, ensuring that the brand remains relevant and continues to grow its market share in the competitive U.S. marketplace. In this role, the Senior Manager will be responsible for translating commercial strategies into effective content and communications for Neutrogena Face. This includes overseeing communications for multiple strategic projects, partnering with agencies to develop consistent communication assets, and creating localized digital content that resonates with Neutrogena's core consumers. The position also involves collaboration with the Media team to ensure timely delivery of assets that align with media plans and business objectives. Additionally, the Senior Manager will establish new processes for managing inputs and approvals from key partners, including Legal and Regulatory teams, and will have the opportunity to mentor an Associate Brand Manager, potentially taking on direct leadership responsibilities in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Support Senior Brand Manager in establishing a new communications ecosystem for Neutrogena Face.
  • Oversee communications efforts for multiple strategic projects from business brief to execution.
  • Partner with agency roster to develop communication assets that drive consistency with the entire Neutrogena Face ecosystem and deliver on the business objectives.
  • Create localized digital/creator-led first communications that drive relevancy and reach with the core Neutrogena consumer.
  • Partner with Media team to ensure delivery of assets on time to meet the media plan requirements and ensure delivery of business results tied to media and creative.
  • Establish new processes that seamlessly manage the input and approval of key partners like Legal, Regulatory, & R D.
  • Support in mentorship of Associate Brand Manager of Content & Communications with opportunity to take over direct people leadership responsibilities with time and proven track record.

Requirements

  • A BA/BS degree is required; a Master's in business or marketing specialization preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of marketing, sales or related experience is required.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills are required, with strategy and data being core to the role.
  • Digital marketing experience is critical.

  • Preferred industry experience of Fashion, Beauty, Skincare, FMCG, Creative/PR Agency, Consulting.
  • Experience leading and developing teams of teams.
  • Experience leading cross-functionals and agencies to develop a communications strategy for multiple brands or priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to own commercial strategy and translate to communications strategy.
  • Excellent creative instincts and strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to bring out the best in others.
  • Budget management and forecasting experience.
