About the position

As Senior Manager of Compensation, you will lead the compensation team in designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation programs that align with the organization's goals. This role focuses on talent attraction and retention through effective compensation strategies, ensuring competitiveness and equity across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement compensation strategies that align with the organization's objectives.
  • Oversee the design, administration, and evaluation of compensation programs, including base pay, bonuses, and incentive plans.
  • Design efficient and engaging processes, incorporating automation and AI/ML solutions.
  • Oversee technical leadership of compensation technology and tools.
  • Conduct regular market analyses to ensure competitive and compliant compensation packages.
  • Manage vendor relationships that supply benchmarking data.
  • Analyze compensation data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Develop, update, and communicate compensation policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with HR partners, finance, and leadership to align compensation practices with organizational goals.
  • Manage and mentor the compensation team, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Design and deliver training programs for HR staff and management on compensation policies, practices, and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in Compensation Strategy and Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation theories, practices, and regulations; familiarity with HRIS and compensation management systems.
  • Experience with HRIS software and systems (e.g., Workday, or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification preferred is a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong project management abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead a team, establish goals and expectations and manage performance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable.
