The Senior Manager of Content Strategy and Digital Marketing at the University of Georgia will play a pivotal role in designing and executing a centralized content plan aimed at engaging both internal and external audiences. This position is crucial for guiding the distribution of UGA content across various owned, earned, and paid channels, ensuring that all content aligns with and enhances the UGA brand and its strategic goals. The Senior Manager will report directly to the Senior Director for Integrated Marketing & Brand Strategy, collaborating closely with various teams within the Division of Marketing & Communications to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all platforms. In this role, the Senior Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads and social media. This requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational and communication skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams and integrating efforts across the division. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in content management and strategy, as well as a strong understanding of media relations, digital marketing, SEO, and social media platforms. The Senior Manager will also supervise the Marketing & Communications Data Analyst, utilizing analytics and metrics to measure content effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly. This position demands a creative thinker with a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
