About the position

As the Senior Manager of Inventory and Inventory Forecasting, this role will be directly accountable for strategy and optimization of enterprise-wide inventory levels across 2800 clinics, currently managing a $3B spend. The primary objective is to meet patient needs while optimizing inventory levels. This position will play a crucial role in leading the inventory strategy across the enterprise, focusing on process and technology advancements that enhance patient care. The Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing inventory strategies that align with business goals, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet patient needs and minimize supply disruptions. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Senior Manager will work closely with procurement and suppliers to establish the right strategic partnerships for inventory fulfillment. This includes negotiating with suppliers and supporting clinic operations to maintain optimal stock levels while reducing risk. Additionally, the Senior Manager will lead the development and implementation of inventory forecasting models across the enterprise, utilizing historical data and market trends to inform supplier negotiations and binding commitments. The role also involves overseeing the enterprise-wide management of inventory, implementing best practices such as Plan for Every Part (PFEP), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and ABC/XYZ analysis. The Senior Manager will identify safety stock, manage excess and obsolete inventory, and lead replenishment processes. Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turns, fill rates, and material availability will be essential to track inventory performance and provide regular reports to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • At least 6+ years in a comparable inventory management role.
  • Proficiency in utilizing PFEP (Plan for Every Part) methodology.
  • Proficiency in utilizing MRP (Material Requirements Planning) methodology.
  • Experience in IMS (Inventory Management System) selection, implementation, and rollout.
