About the position

The Senior Manager of Operations (SMO) at EisnerAmper will play a pivotal role in centralizing various teams within the EA RESIG: Real Estate Fund Accounting Practice. This position is designed for experienced professionals who are adept at managing operations, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of excellence. The SMO will collaborate closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and other senior leaders to drive the practice's business plan, ensuring streamlined processes and shared values across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the centralization of various siloed teams across EA RESIG to create a harmonious team with streamlined processes.
  • Develop, lead, and implement the Practice's Business Plan with a focus on management and operations.
  • Advise and support the COO in planning and prioritizing critical issues.
  • Co-own the EA RESIG annual business plan and execute it in collaboration with the COO and Partners.
  • Understand the EA RESIG financial landscape and collaborate with key personnel to achieve budgeted profitability.
  • Liaise with internal cross-functional teams to execute various Firm initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to understand hiring needs and workforce development.
  • Challenge business requests and influence appropriate resolutions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in professional services firms, such as CPA or financial services.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution is required.
  • Certification in HR or Business Operations highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Resource & Utilization Management and profitability statistics.
  • Proficiency with Resource Management Systems.
  • Experience managing talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Strong Performance Coach and Team Manager.
  • Ability to navigate and operate in a fast-paced, complex client services environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to recognize trends and diagnose business health.
  • Highly organized and adaptable with acute prioritization skills.
  • Ability to influence multiple constituents and establish trusted relationships.
  • Highly personable and comfortable collaborating with Firm Executives.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft 365 applications.
