The Senior Manager of Partnerships and Community Engagement will play a pivotal role in supporting the ASPPH Center for Public Health Workforce Development. This position is focused on identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with public health partners, particularly with Tribal Nations and Tribal Health Departments across the continental United States. The Senior Manager will be responsible for strategizing, designing, promoting, and evaluating ASPPH's applied learning and training programs, which are aimed at providing mentored training opportunities for students and recent graduates from ASPPH member schools and programs of public health. In this capacity, the Senior Manager will engage in partnership development and management by identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with community partners, including Tribal Health Departments and subject matter experts. This involves developing, implementing, and managing partnership agreements while maintaining ongoing communication and relationship-building with key partners. The role also encompasses community engagement and outreach, where the Senior Manager will design and manage strategies to ensure active participation and input from community partners, particularly Tribal communities. Organizing and facilitating meetings, workshops, and events to engage partners and community members will be essential, as well as serving as a liaison between ASPPH and partners to address their ideas, concerns, and needs. Additionally, the Senior Manager will oversee program development, managing the structure, policies, protocol, and budget in collaboration with community partners and grant requirements. It is crucial that the programs developed are culturally relevant, evidence-based, and aligned with the needs of the communities, ASPPH values, and grant requirements. The role will also involve capacity building and technical assistance, where the Senior Manager will manage the delivery of support to Tribal Health Departments, developing training materials, resources, and workshops to enhance partner capacity. Data management and reporting will be another key responsibility, including conducting environmental scans regarding workforce development needs in Tribal Health Departments, collecting and analyzing data related to community engagement, partnership activities, and program outcomes, and preparing reports and presentations to share progress and impact with funders and partners.
