About the position

As Senior Manager of Performance Marketing at Carta, you will work to set winning strategies for paid media across all segments, evaluate and implement diversified multi-channel media plans, and optimize channel efficacy. You will be responsible for building pipeline strategies, fostering a culture of innovation, standardizing paid media planning, and driving team excellence. This role is critical in executing paid media strategy to deliver on pipeline targets across all of Carta’s business units.

Responsibilities

  • Set winning strategies for paid media across all segments.
  • Evaluate and implement diversified multi-channel, full funnel media plans.
  • Identify and evaluate the effectiveness of channels across email, paid social, digital ads, and third-party media.
  • Build pipeline strategies that offset seasonality and market factors.
  • Improve ROAS and optimize channels through a pragmatic test and scale approach.
  • Deploy high-potential pilots and scale promising outcomes.
  • Create a flexible but standardized approach to paid media planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Mentor and manage a high-performing team of marketers.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in B2B demand generation and/or performance marketing.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading a demand generation function.
  • Experience managing direct reports across performance marketing and analytics.
  • Fluent in ad platforms and networks (e.g., Google Ads, Google Display Network, GA4).
  • Familiar with marketing automation and attribution tools (Marketo Measure, Bizible, Salesforce).
  • Experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
  • Comfortable with ABM platforms and DSPs (e.g., 6Sense, Demandbase, ZoomInfo MarketingOS).
  • BA required.

Nice-to-haves

  • SaaS experience across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of the latest in marketing mix modeling and predictive analytics preferred.
