The Senior Manager, Social Media at Hibbett Retail, Inc. plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's online presence and engagement through strategic social media initiatives. The Senior Manager will oversee all corporate social media accounts, including platforms such as TikTok, X, and Meta, as well as the social media accounts for individual stores. This role also involves leading the strategy for social media influencers and internal social media ambassadors, ensuring that the messaging is consistent and effective across all channels. In addition to strategy development, the Senior Manager will create and implement engaging content tailored for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok. The role requires planning and executing social media campaigns, promotions, and contests that align with the company's marketing goals and product launches. Monitoring social media channels, responding to audience interactions, and fostering positive relationships within the online community are also key responsibilities. The Senior Manager will track, analyze, and report on social media performance using key metrics to measure the success of campaigns and inform future strategies. Collaboration is essential in this role, as the Senior Manager will work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding. Staying current with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices is crucial for maintaining the effectiveness of the organization's social media efforts. The position also involves identifying and engaging with influencers and brand advocates to expand the organization's reach and enhance brand reputation. Additionally, the Senior Manager is tasked with protecting the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures. The measurable outcomes for this role include social media follower and engagement growth, as well as the expansion of the social media influencer program and Co-Op revenue generation. The position requires travel up to 25% of the time and may involve on-call duties after hours and on weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Leads social media strategy for all Hibbett corporate social media accounts (TikTok, X, Meta, etc.).
  • Leads social media strategy for all of the organization's store social media accounts.
  • Leads strategy for social media influencers.
  • Leads strategy for the organization's internal social media ambassadors from stores.
  • Leads strategy for the organization's store music and in-store content for TVs.
  • Creates and implements comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, grow the organization's online community, and drive customer engagement.
  • Develops, curates, and manages high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Seven plus years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role in retail.
  • Three plus years of management experience.
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Experience with social media advertising and paid campaigns.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong content creation skills, including writing, graphic design, and video production.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
