The Senior Manager of Supply & Demand Planning at Gymreapers is a pivotal role responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels and fulfilling customer demand across various channels, including Amazon, retail, and direct-to-consumer. This position requires a strategic mindset to execute comprehensive e-commerce forecasting, demand planning, and buying strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for all product lines using historical data, market trends, and sales insights.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to incorporate promotional plans and new product launches into demand forecasts.
• Integrate e-commerce forecasting with overall business strategy to ensure a unified demand approach.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels across Amazon and DTC channels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
• Implement inventory optimization strategies to balance customer service levels and inventory costs.
• Align inventory management tactics with merchandising and buying strategies to support overall business goals.
• Analyze sales data, inventory reports, and market trends to identify patterns and opportunities for improvement.
• Generate and present reports on inventory performance, forecast accuracy, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Work closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient product replenishment.
• Resolve supply chain disruptions and address any issues related to product availability.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve demand planning and inventory management processes.
• Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing overall business performance.
• Ensure alignment of e-commerce forecasting with broader inventory strategies.
• Provide analytical and strategic support to retail demand planning and inventory management teams.
• Collaborate with retail teams to ensure consistent and effective inventory management across all channels.
• Foster strong communication channels with key stakeholders to align inventory strategies with business goals.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align inventory plans with promotional activities and sales events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, business administration, operations management, or data science related fields
• 4+ years of experience in demand planning and inventory management, preferably within the designer and luxury goods industry.
• Apics Certifications or Lean Certifications are a plus (Planning and Inventory Management ~CPMI, Certified Supply Chain Professional ~ CSCP, Six Sigma Black Belt CSSBB)
• Proficiency in demand forecasting tools, inventory management software, and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Proven strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective inventory management strategies.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Amazon Seller Central, retail supply chain management, and direct-to-consumer logistics is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
