About the position

The Senior Manager, Operations Improvement at Walmart is responsible for driving operational excellence across retail stores by overseeing multiple projects, managing content management initiatives, directing process improvements, and leading behavior change programs. This role is pivotal in streamlining operations, enhancing efficiency, and delivering an exceptional customer experience, while also managing maintenance for 53 facilities and leading a team of senior managers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Oversee entire general maintenance and HVAC/R maintenance for 53 facilities.
• Lead 4 Senior Managers and 40 technicians in maintenance operations.
• Work cross-functionally with Store Managers and Market Managers on facility services needs.
• Manage and evaluate workflow and ensure proper escalation of tickets.
• Oversee budget and financial aspects of operations.
• Collaborate directly with different vendors and contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 4 years' experience in retail operations, content development, project management, or related area OR 6 years' experience in retail operations, content development, project management, or related area.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Leadership skills to lead, motivate, and develop others.
• Data-driven with analytical skills.
• Basic computer skills.
