About the position

The Senior Manager, Paid Media and SEO will play a crucial role in the Healthy Paws Marketing and Communications team, leading the strategy, planning, and execution of paid media campaigns across various brand and performance marketing initiatives in the US. This position is responsible for driving lead generation and customer enrollment for pet insurance, collaborating with cross-functional teams and acting as the primary contact for media agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day supervision of Paid Search, Paid Social & SEO programs, including strategic approaches, bid recommendations, execution details, budgets/accounting and overall goal achievement.
  • Monitor, track and evaluate campaign performance analytics, based on client KPI targets and baselines.
  • Stay updated on the latest tools and User Interfaces (AdWords, Bing, Bid Management Platforms, eMarketer, SEMrush, Search Engine Land, AdCenter, AdGooroo, etc.).
  • Research and develop tools and innovative tactics to improve efficiencies or advance the practice.
  • Develop and execute successful Paid Search, Paid Social & SEO strategies.
  • Guide content teams through keyword research and recommend fixes for technical SEO issues.
  • Optimize paid search copy, paid social advertising, website content, and landing pages.
  • Oversee off-page optimization projects (e.g., link-building).
  • Report on aspects of SEO (e.g., traffic and rankings, collect data).
  • Optimize campaigns throughout the month and present findings to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in paid media and SEO management.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with performance metrics and reporting.
  • Proficiency in using tools such as AdWords, Bing, SEMrush, and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the insurance or finance industry.
  • Familiarity with lead generation strategies and customer enrollment processes.
