About the position

The Sr. Manager of Paid Media at Matter is responsible for leading the media strategy and planning to integrate paid media within the overall marketing mix, ensuring alignment with client business goals. This role involves overseeing the execution, optimization, and reporting of paid media campaigns across various platforms, while also managing budgets and collaborating with analytics teams to provide actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both B2B and B2C paid media strategies, demonstrating creativity and analytical skills to drive results for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead media strategy and planning, translating client business goals into strategic paid media campaigns.
  • Set up, execute, optimize, and report on paid media campaigns across various platforms including Programmatic, Display, Meta, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Create monthly and quarterly reports for clients on goals and benchmarks, working with the Analytics team to showcase results.
  • Oversee budgeting recommendations and implementation for clients.
  • Assist with campaign trafficking, tagging, and billing, including trafficking programmatic campaigns in CM360.
  • Negotiate media buys with publishers and media partners, staying updated on new product offerings.
  • Prepare and maintain key media buying documents such as authorizations, orders, and traffic sheets.
  • Provide real-time competitive auditing, monitoring, and planning for key clients.
  • Support in researching, preparing, and pitching new business opportunities.
  • Serve as a leader and expert in non-search paid media planning and buying.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience developing successful, measurable integrated paid media programs for multiple clients, both B2B and B2C.
  • Knowledge and expertise of paid social media channels including Meta, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, and others.
  • Strong analytical and creative thinking skills with the ability to generate insights and conduct market assessments.
  • Experience overseeing the setup, execution, optimizations, and reporting for paid social campaigns across various platforms.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of paid advertising across media channels and propose new format/partnership ideas for clients.
  • Experience creating and implementing solid paid media strategies, goal-setting, and reporting.
  • Experience working with larger cross-functional marketing teams, implementing campaigns in B2C and B2B.
  • Track record of delivering results for clients, raising brand awareness, and driving demand.
  • Desire to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, team-oriented environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional verbal and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant business experience.
