About the position

The Senior Manager of People Operations at Moloco is a pivotal role responsible for leading and optimizing HR processes and programs across the US and EMEA. This position focuses on enhancing the employee experience, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and leveraging data to drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR operations, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance and scale People Operations by identifying opportunities to improve existing processes and workflows, balancing efficiency with employee experience.
  • Proactively address and support employee questions and requests related to HR policies, projects, programs, and benefits.
  • Leverage people data to turn insights into action, achieving operational excellence through collaboration and optimized processes.
  • Spearhead People Operations projects, developing plans and recommendations to solve complex employee issues.
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with key global stakeholders to develop and implement HR processes and operational programs.
  • Model and ensure the highest standard of confidentiality in data handling.
  • Manage and lead audits of HR processes to maintain compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Make sound decisions in a fast-paced, changing environment with limited data.
  • Manage multiple critical priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Mentor and coach team members to their highest potential.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in HR Ops / People Operations.
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, scaling, and optimizing global HR processes and programs.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, processes, and legal requirements.
  • Confidence to make strategic decisions leveraging data.
  • Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication, written, verbal, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential data with discretion and care.

Nice-to-haves

  • Relevant experience in Benefits, Leaves of Absence, HR Compliance, Contingent Workforce, Global Mobility, and/or Immigration.
  • Deep knowledge of US employment law.
  • Prior experience with statutory requirements in EMEA.
  • People Management experience.
  • Experience in a scaling growth startup.
  • Leadership presence with strong collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of HR Technology systems design, HR reporting, workflow, and auditing requirements (experience with Greenhouse & Workday preferred).
  • Demonstrated project management and change management skills.
