The Senior Manager, Portfolio Operations role at Visa is a pivotal position within the Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) organization, which is dedicated to delivering payment solutions and services to a diverse range of clients globally. In this role, the Senior Manager will leverage their expertise in Lean Agile methodologies to implement agile practices and drive efficiencies in product and technology delivery. The position requires a strong focus on leading transformation programs and ensuring successful delivery of portfolio operations across the CMS organization. The Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and coordinating executive quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to report on product roadmap delivery, identify challenges and risks, and track overall progress against CMS transformation priorities. Additionally, the role involves close collaboration with product and portfolio leads to define operational efficiencies, optimize processes, and establish new frameworks as necessary. The Senior Manager will also become a subject matter expert in Jira Align (JA), working to enhance its adoption and automate reporting processes. This position is crucial for representing CMS priorities while aligning with the Central Product Operations team on Visa-wide transformation efforts, including the development of roadmaps and methodologies. The Senior Manager will be expected to coach and guide teams at all levels to adopt agile mindsets and Lean Thinking principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and value delivery. The role requires strong emotional intelligence, organizational skills, and the ability to navigate complex, cross-functional issues while maintaining a focus on strategic outcomes. This hybrid position allows for a flexible work environment, with expectations to work from the office 2-3 days a week based on business needs.
