About The Position
The Senior Manager, Procurement will play a critical role in supporting Macy's strategic priorities by enhancing procurement processes, driving cost efficiencies, and fostering supplier relationships. This position will focus on core procurement category manager roles and responsibilities, including supplier and sourcing strategy, business partnering, and supplier relationship management. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Macy's goals of delivering 'A Bold New Chapter' and driving results. In addition, the Senior Manager, Procurement will work closely with the business to build strategic partnerships with suppliers, Carriers, 3PL’s, and internal stakeholders. This includes identifying and developing key supplier relationships, implementing performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that Macy's remains at the forefront of industry trends and best practices. Leading the Request for Proposal (RFP) process and conducting thorough analyses; and ensuring the integrity of rates across all transportation modes. The Senior Manager, Procurement will be responsible for all commercial agreements, sourcing and supplier relationship management for Macy’s Transportation and Parcel spend in collaboration with the Supply Chain Organization.
