You will be expected to stay ahead of market trends and customer preferences, ensuring that your product offerings are not only relevant but also innovative. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you assess performance metrics, understand market trends, and translate these insights into actionable strategies for product and brand execution. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development of category strategies for Private Brands, building strong relationships with suppliers and business partners, and influencing key decisions that affect product replenishment, supply chain management, and pricing strategies. Quality will be a constant focus, as you will work with sourcing teams to ensure that the products meet both customer expectations and business requirements. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate to assist in setting the category strategy for Private Brands.
  • Build relationships with suppliers, merchants, and business partners.
  • Influence decisions regarding product replenishment, supply chain, and pricing.
  • Work with Sourcing to deliver quality products while achieving key business metrics.
  • Understand and anticipate the needs of private brand customers and suppliers.
  • Focus on continuous improvement in product quality and business systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 4 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area OR 6 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess performance and market trends.
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Application development experience with emphasis on VBA and SQL programming languages.
  • Experience with creative design software.
  • Financial modeling skills.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Six Sigma Certification.
