As a global leader in insurance broking and risk management, Marsh is seeking a Senior Manager - Product Development to join our team in the New York City office. This role is pivotal in the implementation and execution of Marsh's largest and most impactful transformation to date. The Digital Product Manager will be responsible for delivering significant, large-scale, complex programs aligned with our global strategic transformation and change agenda. You will be part of the Operations & Technology team, specifically within the Placement & Policy Management (PPM) program, which focuses on enhancing our digital product offerings. In this role, you will take ownership of the PPM module, leading the product roadmap and component strategy. You will conduct product discovery exercises to identify end-user needs and curate demand within your digital product domain. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining a detailed product roadmap that encompasses resources, scope, schedule, cost, assumptions, and dependencies. You will manage the conversion of high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories, ensuring alignment with market factors and strategic opportunities. You will oversee regional digital products and services from conception to launch and scale, collaborating closely with delivery partners. This role requires exceptional communication skills to keep stakeholders informed about project status and to advocate for the benefits of digital products. Building strong relationships with various teams, including business, IT, operations, and vendors, will be crucial to optimizing the value of the delivery team. You will also coordinate with colleagues focused on data standards to ensure product alignment with key data efforts and develop comprehensive change management plans to facilitate successful delivery of key changes. Your expertise will be essential in evaluating the progress of digital products or services by setting success criteria and key performance indicators. You will negotiate resource requirements and serve as a recognized expert in the product functionality and business domain. This position demands a proactive approach to communicate risks, dependencies, and changes to the product roadmap, as well as coordinating large regional projects with established plans and milestones.
