About the position

The Senior Manager, Product Management for Delivery Experience at Capital One is responsible for enhancing developer productivity through automation of software quality assurance within the DevOps pipeline. This role focuses on defining and executing strategies that improve the developer experience, ensuring high-quality software delivery while managing operational risks and defects. The position involves collaboration with technical and design partners to deliver tools and strategies for automated testing, advocating for the needs of software developers, and aligning product capabilities with business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Engaging all stakeholders (Engineers, SDLC, Architecture, Risk, and Cyber) to serve as the voice of the customer internally.
• Identifying new capabilities, defining product features, and working closely with development teams to incorporate those features.
• Driving the product management practice within the organization, defining expectations and commitments.
• Operationalizing product metrics for the products owned and building the business case for new investment.
• Influencing senior stakeholders to use products and sharing outcomes to strengthen investment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in product management or related fields such as product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• MBA or Master's degree.
• 5+ years of experience in Agile product management.
