About the position

The Senior Manager, Product Management for the Inbound Payments Platform at Capital One is responsible for enhancing customer experiences through innovative payment solutions. This role involves creating and executing a strategic agenda to ensure seamless payment processing for various platform tenants, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining a roadmap focused on delivering high-value outcomes while adhering to core platform principles.

Responsibilities

• Act as the voice of the business and customer for the team.
• Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design.
• Ensure a healthy backlog by regularly grooming intent with the team.
• Prioritize the Product Backlog to maximize business and customer outcomes.
• Define acceptance criteria for work and accept user stories.
• Collaborate across teams and the Product Manager community.
• Support the team with escalation and resolution of impediments.
• Participate in key Agile and SAFe ceremonies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in digital product management.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• MBA or Master's degree.
• 3+ years of experience in Agile product management.
• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products.
