About the position

The Senior Manager, Product Management at HealthEdge Software Inc. is responsible for developing innovative solutions for the healthcare reimbursement market. This role involves collaboration with customers and agile engineering teams to define roadmap initiatives and guide product delivery, focusing on enhancing user experience and evolving analytics modules. The position allows for significant impact within the company while expanding product management skills in a new domain.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with Source's goals and market needs.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Define product roadmaps and prioritize features based on their business and customer impact.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to ensure successful product development and delivery.
  • Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to develop and launch products.
  • Build UI design function within the Source product organization and manage current UI design analysts.
  • Define, prioritize, and deliver features that provide substantial value to customers.
  • Work closely with customers and internal functions to validate business requirements and prioritize work.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for product-related queries and decisions.
  • Assist in commercializing and enabling features developed by the team.

Requirements

  • 7 or more years of Product Management experience, preferably in a SaaS organization.
  • 4 or more years of leadership experience.
  • Confidence in product management fundamentals and working in an agile environment.
  • Experience in building SaaS products and managing a backlog.
  • Ability to write and prioritize features, conduct user research, and client discovery.
  • Strong analytical abilities and collaborative teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in product management tools such as JIRA and Trello.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player and navigate barriers while considering stakeholder feedback.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail, capable of breaking down complex problems into manageable steps.
