About the position

The Senior Manager, Product Marketing at Princess Cruises is a pivotal role responsible for leading guest-facing marketing efforts across various onboard experience areas. This hybrid position involves developing comprehensive marketing campaigns for product launches and enhancing guest experiences through strategic communications. The role requires collaboration with multiple teams to create engaging content and drive brand awareness, while also managing a small team of direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy, marketing support and development, and launch planning for all onboard guest experience areas.
  • Develop communications and marketing plans to support strategic initiatives and drive product announcements.
  • Create storytelling that generates excitement, demand, and brand awareness.
  • Develop content across all marketing channels including website, print, emails, videos, social, PR, and onboard collateral.
  • Establish prioritization of projects, defining deliverables, timelines, and performance objectives.
  • Work with brand, creative agencies, and paid media teams to provide product direction and collateral support.
  • Collaborate with Partnerships, PR, and Events teams to deliver compelling guest experience stories.
  • Supervise two direct reports, assigning responsibilities and coaching as needed.
  • Input creative briefs and route creative to stakeholders for review and approvals.
  • Collaborate across teams for venue and experience updates or launches.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 10-15 years of marketing experience, preferably in premium or contemporary cruise line onboard marketing.
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • 5+ years of product development experience.
  • Experience planning and strategizing communications programs.
  • Experience with developing large scale, complex marketing plans and go to market plans.
  • Proven project management experience, especially handling cross-functional departments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and ability to present concepts visually.
  • Ability to think critically and apply problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to negotiate, present and resolve complex controversial issues.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
