About the position

As a part of Walmart Connect, the Senior Product Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in building industry-defining ad platforms that enable suppliers and sellers to connect meaningfully with shoppers. This position focuses on high-performing advertising that leverages Walmart's extensive omni-channel data. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will oversee individual product launches and lead a team of Product Marketing Managers (PMMs). The primary responsibility will be to develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies for various advertising products, emphasizing product adoption and revenue growth. This includes crafting positioning, identifying use cases, and enabling sales teams to effectively promote the products. In this role, the Senior Product Marketing Manager will mentor and coach a team of PMMs, guiding them in transforming Walmart's advertising capabilities into key product values and benefits for strategic advertisers and agencies. A strong background in the advertising tech industry is essential, with knowledge of search, display, social, and measurement being advantageous. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing and communication skills, with a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, training, and operations. The impact of this role will be significant, as the Senior Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementing product GTM strategies that prioritize customer needs. This includes owning and delivering strategies that drive product adoption and revenue growth, partnering with product management to align product features with customer challenges, and collaborating with various teams to analyze data for strategic insights. Additionally, the role involves developing product positioning and messaging that differentiates Walmart's product suite, rolling out beta programs, and documenting success metrics and customer references.

Responsibilities

  • Build industry-defining ad platforms that enable suppliers and sellers to connect with shoppers.
  • Oversee individual product launches and lead a team of PMMs.

  • Craft positioning, use cases, and sales enablement materials for product adoption and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Online Advertising Industry.
  • 2+ years in a team management or leadership role.
  • Solid understanding of advertising technologies.
  • Proven ability to form relationships and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills in both writing and presentation.
  • Analytical and data-driven with structured and strategic thinking.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
