About the position

The Senior Manager, Product Marketing at CSG is responsible for supporting the positioning, go-to-market planning, and marketing assets for the company's products and solutions. This role acts as a liaison between Product Management, Strategic Solution Units, and customers, crafting compelling value propositions and messaging that differentiate CSG's offerings. The position focuses on optimizing sales enablement collateral to drive product demand and adoption, while also managing marketing strategies and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Support the alignment of CSG's product positioning and value proposition to industry and customer needs.
  • Gather insights for developing buyer personas and messaging to connect with target audiences.
  • Collaborate on the development of sales plays and materials to drive demand and pipeline.
  • Plan and deliver the launch of new products and releases in partnership with various teams.
  • Execute go-to-market strategies across all stages of the buyer lifecycle.
  • Identify and reach market prospects through collaboration with marketing teams.
  • Develop plans to convert leads and maximize market opportunities through customer-facing activities.
  • Monitor new market opportunities and pursue plans in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, developing marketing content that is consistent and optimized for engagement.
  • Develop customer personas to aid in product positioning and messaging.
  • Manage assigned marketing budgets and outside agencies as needed.
  • Demonstrate effective managerial practices, including recruitment and performance management of the marketing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10-12+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in a B2B technology environment.
  • Experience in product marketing strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the Pragmatic Marketing Framework.
  • Experience supporting large, complex product launches.
  • Excellent writing, organization, and project management skills.
  • Strong ability to identify and prioritize prospects while leveraging subject matter experts.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter, and innovative mindset.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to evolving client and business needs.
  • Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment.
