About the position

The Senior Manager, Product Marketing at Royal Caribbean Group will lead the strategic development and execution of comprehensive product positioning, messaging, and content needs for the entire product portfolio. This role is crucial in ensuring that product communications are effectively integrated across all channels, enhancing the consumer experience and differentiating the offerings from competitors. The position involves collaboration with various departments, managing project leads, and evolving product marketing strategies to meet business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product strategy, product development, and stakeholder departments to identify marketable opportunities and devise strategic product marketing plans.
  • Guide product marketing channel leads to ensure timely delivery and implementation of product initiatives.
  • Outline product marketing strategy goals, objectives, positioning/messaging strategy, and channel tactics, while setting measurable KPIs and analyzing product effectiveness.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and provide innovative product marketing solutions to current market challenges.
  • Maintain strong relationships with team and channel leaders to achieve shared goals.
  • Collaborate with various teams early in the development process to advocate for marketable features in new products.
  • Explore and evolve new product marketing strategies and creative deliverables to engage new audiences.
  • Provide regular product marketing updates to North America and global markets.
  • Report weekly status updates to supervisors and executives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in marketing and/or advertising, with a focus on product marketing.
  • Strong experience in developing product messaging architecture based on insights.
  • In-depth understanding of consumer, product, brand, and competitive research.
  • Experience in planning and executing comprehensive product marketing strategies for communications and feature releases.
  • Ability to translate complex features into compelling customer-facing communications across various channels.
  • Experience managing agencies and internal/external creative vendors.
  • Strong critical decision-making and communication skills.
  • Cross-functional leadership expertise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with print/digital/CGI assets.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
