About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our team. In this hybrid role (4 in, 1 home), you will lead our marketing efforts, develop strategic marketing plans and campaigns, and drive brand growth for a specific subset of our residential product lines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our marketing initiatives align with our business goals and resonate with our target audience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and market share
  • Build marketing plans to support product introductions that are customized to fit the needs of each specific launch
  • Collaborate with product management, sales and relevant teams to develop a communication and positioning plan for individual markets and segments
  • Plan and execute the marketing programs, advertising and promotion activities for product line of responsibility
  • Provide direction to marketing department personnel who are responsible for supporting the determined initiatives, programs and promotions
  • Develop and continuously improve marketing processes and policies needed to support company requirements and customer wants and needs
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize performance
  • Research, analyze, and report on industry, technological, demographic, and competitive trends to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize the effects of competitive activity
  • Provide comprehensive briefs to creative team for execution
  • Responsibilities as a manager may include interviewing and hiring employees; planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems

Requirements

  • Must be effective in working in a cross functional environment
  • Must have excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills and familiarity with SEO best practices
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Must have proven experience tracking campaign effectiveness through tools such as SFDC, Eloqua, etc.
  • Must have excellent understanding of consumer marketing, segmentation, vertical markets, and the development of a marketing communication plan
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in business or marketing from a four-year college or university; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 7 years marketing experience
  • Experience leading a small team a plus
  • Experience in the industry is preferred, but not required
  • Requires experience developing marketing strategy and plans and executing those plans to support growth goals
