About the position

The Senior Manager, Product Marketing is responsible for supporting the positioning, go-to-market planning, and marketing assets for CSG's products and solutions. This role acts as a liaison between Product Management, Strategic Solution Units, and customers, crafting compelling value propositions and messaging to differentiate CSG's offerings. The position focuses on optimizing sales enablement collateral to drive product demand and adoption, while also managing marketing strategies and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Support the alignment of CSG's product positioning and value proposition to industry and customer needs.
  • Gather insights for developing buyer personas and messaging to connect with target audiences.
  • Collaborate on the development of sales plays and materials to drive demand and pipeline.
  • Partner with various teams to plan and deliver product launches.
  • Execute go-to-market strategies across the buyer lifecycle from prospect identification to retention.
  • Develop plans to convert leads and maximize market opportunities through marketing activities.
  • Identify and monitor new market opportunities and pursue plans accordingly.
  • Build necessary tools and materials to support sales in go-to-market strategies.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, developing on-brand marketing content optimized for target audiences.
  • Develop unique customer personas to aid in product positioning.
  • Manage assigned marketing budgets and outside agencies as needed.
  • Provide leadership and performance management for the Product Marketing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 10-12+ years of product marketing experience in a B2B technology environment.
  • Experience in product marketing strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the Pragmatic Marketing Framework.
  • Experience supporting large, complex product launches.
  • Excellent writing, organization, and project management skills.
  • Strong ability to identify and prioritize prospects while leveraging subject matter experts.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter, and innovative mindset.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to evolving client and business needs.
  • Capability to operate in a multi-cultural environment.
