About the position

The Product Owner Learning for My Growth (LfMG) at Pfizer is responsible for the vision, strategy, and success of the Learning Experience Platform. This role focuses on enhancing the learner experience, ensuring timely responses to business needs, and delivering exceptional learning experiences. The Product Owner will manage the entire lifecycle of the learning technology product, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product features, develop roadmaps, and ensure alignment with enterprise strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire life cycle of the Learning Experience Platform, including purpose, definition, design, planning, development, prototyping, and testing.
  • Apply design thinking techniques to define product features and develop the roadmap based on effort sizing and overall business value.
  • Collaborate with development teams and the business for sprint reviews and continuous delivery.
  • Translate product vision and user needs into prioritized user stories for the product backlog.
  • Deliver ongoing initiatives and releases for improved user experiences leveraging user-centric design principles.
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met and maintain up-to-date documentation and system configuration.
  • Lead system upgrades and continuous improvement projects related to LfMG.
  • Collaborate with Pfizer Digital/Business QA, Legal, and Compliance to perform risk analysis and resolve quality issues.
  • Manage enterprise Learning Solutions Creation Center communications, training, and documentation.
  • Oversee financials, budgets, and forecasts for LfMG.

Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience in the Information Technology space with a BA/BS or equivalent.
  • Experience with product management and Agile/Lean Development methodology.
  • Knowledgeable about the latest trends and best practices in the Learning Technology space.
  • Experience in contributing to and executing product visions, strategies, and roadmaps.
  • Ability to analyze user metrics and turn them into actionable insights.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic initiatives.
  • Proven experience with learning and development technical solutions (e.g., SAP Success Factors, Degreed).
  • Certification in Agile and Scrum development practices.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
