About the position

The Senior Manager, Product - Partner and Customer Solutions, Business Strategy at Starbucks is responsible for leading transformation initiatives that enhance the experience for customers and store partners. This role focuses on packaging innovation to improve food and beverage quality, reduce store complexity, and achieve sustainability goals, particularly the 2030 target for consumer-facing packaging to be 100% reusable, recyclable, or compostable. The position requires collaboration across various teams to drive strategic initiatives and align on product strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead transformation by identifying opportunities and creating strategies to improve customer and partner experiences.
  • Guide packaging innovation to enhance product quality and sustainability.
  • Build and articulate product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams.
  • Translate business questions into key problems, set strategic priorities, and develop hypotheses for research and testing.
  • Define success metrics, measure outcomes, and adapt strategies based on business shifts.
  • Manage complex initiatives through collaboration and clear communication with cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze data and insights to develop recommendations that meet business requirements.
  • Champion customer and partner needs through storytelling and influence cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading end-to-end product strategy, including briefing, development, testing, and commercialization.
  • Passion for sustainability and innovative packaging solutions.
  • Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Strategic thinking skills to translate complex business priorities into clear plans.
  • Curiosity to understand data linkages and outcomes.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills to influence action across diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Human Centered Design (HCD) principles.
