We are seeking a Senior Manager, Production Planning - Manufacturing to join our dynamic team at Walmart. This leadership role is vital in developing, communicating, and implementing processes and practices to meet business needs, ensuring compliance with company policies, implementing production schedules that maintain adequate inventory levels, overseeing the flow of raw materials within the manufacturing environment, and driving the execution of multiple business plans and projects. In this role, you will develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners. You will analyze and apply information from multiple sources to ensure compliance with company policies, demonstrating, promoting, and supporting compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. You will implement production schedules that maintain adequate inventory levels, maximize production efficiencies, and meet customer fulfillment requirements. Additionally, you will oversee the flow of raw materials within the manufacturing environment, managing the procurement, storage, dispensation, and inventory tracking of raw materials. You will drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating business plans and priorities, and removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance. You will monitor progress and results, identifying, addressing, and implementing improvement opportunities, and participate in and support community outreach events. Providing supervision and development opportunities for associates will be a key part of your role, including selecting and training, mentoring, assigning duties, building a team-based work environment, establishing performance expectations, and conducting regular performance evaluations. Collaboration with cross-functional partners to resolve inventory issues and proactively address constraints will be essential. You will evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives, consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders, and soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
