About the position

The Senior Manager, Program Management, WMUS People Strategy & Operations Team is responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of business and people-led initiatives across various sectors including Stores, Health & Wellness, Realty, and Energy. This role requires effective management of multiple projects at different stages, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational needs while fostering a high-performing, diverse team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs.
  • Develop and communicate business plans and priorities, removing barriers that impact performance.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including training and mentoring.
  • Promote and support company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives to meet business needs.
  • Drive informed decision-making by partnering with senior leaders to identify goals and success criteria.
  • Oversee program management process improvement through gap analyses and best practices.
  • Utilize analytical methodologies to interpret information for initiative work streams and recommend program changes.
  • Evaluate program performance by comparing projections to actual results and identifying key performance indicators.
  • Build strong relationships with team members and business partners to achieve objectives.

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • 3 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years' experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area OR 6 years' experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area.

Nice-to-haves

  • Managing a budget, profit and loss statement, or related financial process.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Project Management Certification.
