About the position

The Senior Manager, Program Operations for the Undiscovered and Small Business Accelerator (USBA) at Amazon is responsible for driving operational mechanisms and enhancing employee satisfaction within the Growth Accelerator organization. This role involves collaborating with leadership to develop operational processes, managing internal and external cultural engagement, and ensuring effective execution of business strategies across various teams. The ideal candidate will thrive in ambiguous situations, possess strong organizational skills, and be capable of influencing at all levels while delivering data-driven results.

Responsibilities

  • Drive operations mechanisms and manage internal and external cultural engagement.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and drive operational processes such as business reviews and goal management.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams from Finance, HR, Legal, and Recruiting to ensure program tracking and execution.
  • Create and maintain operating plan documents and identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Support the leadership team on strategic direction and operating performance management priorities.
  • Standardize and scale best practices across the organization.
  • Lead monthly reviews with leaders to maintain alignment of programs and solutions.
  • Establish a cross-functional governance model for program coordination.
  • Facilitate reviews of future-facing ideas with leadership to drive progress on programs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of program or product management experience.
  • 7+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  • 7+ years of managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, or marketing.
  • Experience working with and influencing senior executives up to VP level.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
  • Master's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, or marketing.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • 3+ years of Amazon leadership experience.
