About the position

The position at Takeda SQS involves leading statistical programming activities across multiple studies, ensuring quality and timeliness while contributing to asset-level strategies. The role requires strong collaboration and influencing skills, as well as a comprehensive understanding of statistical programming and the pharmaceutical industry. The candidate will engage in process improvement initiatives and mentor junior staff, while also demonstrating advanced knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead statistical programming activities across multiple studies and related oversight activities.
  • Contribute to asset level strategies.
  • Independently complete tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Engage cross-functionally to progress tasks with proven influencing skills.
  • Contribute to and/or lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Exhibit internal and external presence on topics of interest.
  • Drive and influence project teams towards objectives while enabling decision-making.
  • Organize programming activities for assigned clinical studies and projects.

Requirements

  • MS with 6+ years of industry-related experience or BS with 8+ years of industry-related experience.
  • Experience leading business process transformations and organizational culture change.
  • Operational experience in pharmaceutical drug development with significant exposure to clinical development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and statistical programming methods.
  • Expert level SAS programming ability and experience with analytical tools such as R and Python.
  • Advanced knowledge of CDISC standards, medical terminology, clinical trial methodologies, and FDA/ICH regulations.
