About the position
As a Senior Manager, Project Management at Capital One, you will lead teams through high priority projects and programs, collaborating with leaders to influence results that impact the company's bottom line. This role involves overseeing business-critical programs, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring project delivery in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in Compliance and Risk Management, with a focus on Data Management and Governance.
Responsibilities
- Lead teams through high priority projects and programs for the company.
- Collaborate with leaders to influence results impacting the company's bottom line.
- Serve as the leader of results, communications, and oversight for business-critical programs.
- Manage the High Priority Usage scope of work to meet policy requirements.
- Plan, design, manage, and execute project plans to ensure delivery.
- Work empathetically with internal customers to create innovative solutions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget while managing risk.
- Leverage problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills to ensure project results meet stakeholder expectations.
- Partner cross-functionally with project customers to drive project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
- At least 5 years of Project Management experience
- At least 1 year of People Management experience

- Masters / MBA Degree
- At least 8 years of Project Management experience
- At least 2 Years of People Management experience
- Compliance or Risk Management experience
- PMP certification
- Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
