About the position

The Senior Manager, Project & Program Management at CVS Health is responsible for managing and expanding the SimplePay program. This role requires a resourceful individual who can leverage available information and resources while maintaining strong working relationships both externally and within the organization. The successful candidate will operate independently in a fast-paced environment, making strategic and tactical decisions, developing policies, and overseeing operational items to enhance program effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand the SimplePay program.
• Develop and implement new ideas that support program work.
• Collaborate across enterprise business segments to understand business needs and requirements.
• Oversee operational specific items related to the program.
• Influence change to improve processes and organizational effectiveness.
• Lead complex projects by setting strategic direction.
• Identify gaps and recommend enhancements related to services and workflows.
• Consult with internal and external constituents to scope and define projects.
• Facilitate cross-functional group presentations and discussions.
• Assist others in identifying solutions to issues impacting the program.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in project and/or program management, operations/process management.
• Experience working with external vendors/partners.
• Strong relationship and change management skills.
• Proven project management skills with a track record of meeting project milestones.
• Critical thinking skills and ability to negotiate for resources.
