About the position

The Senior Public Relations Leader at Palo Alto Networks will be responsible for enhancing the reputation of the Unit 42 business through strategic media coverage and amplification of its services and threat intelligence. This role requires a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences. The position involves collaboration across various functions and regions, managing relationships with top-tier media, and executing high-impact PR strategies to drive growth and visibility for Unit 42.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute PR strategy that builds the reputation for and visibility of Unit 42 offerings and threat intelligence.
• Serve as a key thought partner, architect, and builder for high-impact programs and processes for Unit 42 PR.
• Collaborate effectively across the business, including partnerships with executive communications and regional PR teams.
• Build strong relationships with top-tier media.
• Establish ongoing metrics to measure success and pivot strategies as needed.

Requirements

• 10+ years of communications experience, preferably in cybersecurity.
• Media savvy with knowledge of the cybersecurity and business media landscape.
• Highly organized and self-motivated individual capable of overseeing timely execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technologies and business strategies.
• Strong team player, collaborator, and creative thinker.
