As a Senior Manager and Rebate Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our pricing operations teams through the development and management of analytical tools that drive rebate forecasting needs. This position is integral to our transformational underwriting initiative aimed at enhancing profitability across the enterprise. You will be the subject matter expert responsible for the design, strategy, and build of foundational analytical tools that support our Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) pricing and underwriting functions. In this role, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of the business and its needs, ensuring that analytical requirements are accurately captured and communicated to key stakeholders. You will manage the product roadmap for the rebate tool, ensuring real-time backlog management and stakeholder alignment throughout the year. Your responsibilities will include supporting business validation testing, performing data integrity checks using applications such as Tableau and Microsoft Excel, and assisting in the design and review of reporting packages for downstream business partners. Additionally, you will train underwriting teams on how to utilize this information effectively to develop their pricing strategies. This unique position requires a blend of business and technology acumen, allowing you to operate as a leader and detail-oriented expert. You will collaborate closely with the leader of the ecosystem, product owners, and IT colleagues to facilitate strong relationships that bring the vision and strategy to life. A successful candidate will embrace change and propose innovative solutions to optimize new business processes, ultimately improving the accuracy of forecasting logic and reducing financial leakage.

Responsibilities

  • Own the rebate tool product roadmap with real-time backlog management, ensuring stakeholder alignment and visibility throughout the year
  • Manage, organize, and prioritize underwriting feedback and capabilities in the product roadmap
  • Leverage deep understanding of the business to ensure analytical requirements are accurately captured and communicated to key stakeholders
  • Craft the product vision; support the design, strategy and build of analytical tools
  • Establish and evolve data-driven insights that inform key outcomes including product health, usability, and accuracy
  • Develop controls and standard operating procedures to create efficiency and structure within the application
  • Drive reporting and training needs for downstream business partners
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment across both legacy and new applications to ensure consistency

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional work experience in PBM/healthcare industry
  • 3+ years leadership experience, either directly or indirectly managing a team and coaching and mentoring a diverse group of colleagues
  • 3+ years of analytical experience (Excel, Tableau)
