About the position

The Senior Manager, Regional Security Operations at McKesson is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive regional security program aimed at identifying risks and creating strategies to mitigate them. This role involves collaboration with various departments to ensure the safety of people, products, and property while maintaining McKesson's reputation. The Senior Manager will oversee security operations, conduct investigations, and provide expertise in crisis management and security training.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of a robust security program to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide general security subject matter expertise to Business Units (BUs).
  • Perform investigations as assigned and collaborate with Global Security Investigations as needed.
  • Assist with crisis management, workforce disruption issues, and transportation security.
  • Oversee supply chain security operations for McK distribution business units.
  • Conduct annual security audits to assess BU adherence to Global Security standards.
  • Coordinate with various corporate departments to drive solutions to business matters.
  • Ensure Site Security Officers (SSOs) are assigned at all Distribution Centers and conduct regional training events quarterly.
  • Complete investigations and ensure reports are entered into the case management system.
  • Support the annual planning process for Global Security initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or a minimum of 7+ years equivalent work experience.
  • Security management experience with a strong performance history across multiple security domains.
  • Experience conducting corporate security investigations in a large, matrixed environment.
  • Self-motivated and organized, capable of managing multiple responsibilities and projects.
  • Experience in project management, organizational change, and process improvement.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including presentations to senior executives.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to establish collaborative working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as PSP or CPP preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Six Sigma tools and methodologies preferred.
