About the position

The Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting Systems and Applications at Western Digital is a leadership role focused on managing a team of specialists in revenue-related systems and applications. This position is responsible for supporting global revenue operations, enhancing accounting processes, and leading corporate initiatives aimed at process improvement. The role requires collaboration with various business functions to ensure efficient and effective revenue operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of specialists who are subject matter experts on revenue-related systems and applications.
• Support the global revenue operations team in achieving best-in-class results.
• Partner with other business functions on various projects.
• Lead corporate initiatives towards process improvement.
• Enhance accounting processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with Global Operations teams, including Sales Ops, RMA, Logistics, Pricing functions, IT teams, and Revenue Operations and Reporting teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of experience in accounting and revenue roles in high tech or similar industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and analytics aptitude required.
• Experience in SAP/Model N/Revenue systems environments and prior systems implementation experience.
• Proficient knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition fundamentals.
• Ability to execute multiple tasks, be detail-oriented, committed to high quality, and adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment.

• Competitive salary range of $131,920.00 - $186,900.00
