About the position

The Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting will oversee the revenue accounting function, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role is pivotal in managing the revenue recognition process, leading a team of accountants, and collaborating with various departments to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage the revenue accounting team and oversee daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies regarding revenue recognition.
• Develop and implement revenue recognition policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and improve processes.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements related to revenue.
• Lead audits and provide necessary documentation to external auditors.
• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in revenue accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition standards (ASC 606).
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
