Genesys is significantly transforming finance and accounting operations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to lead the organization in this journey. The Senior Manager, Revenue Systems Transformation, will oversee the transformation of revenue accounting systems, automation of revenue processes, and ensuring alignment with technical policy and operational strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of revenue recognition principles, accounting systems implementation/integration, project management, and change management. The ideal candidate will be confident in engaging with technology partners and other counterparts to enhance the overall effectiveness of the revenue accounting systems. In this role, you will lead the implementation of new revenue accounting systems and subsystems, ensuring they fit well within the overall systems landscape, including Zuora Revenue (RevPro), Zuora Billing, Salesforce, Workday, and Klarity. You will also be responsible for resolving existing system and process issues, implementing a systems assurance and risk management approach towards new and existing infrastructure, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to achieve organizational goals and targets. Additionally, you will manage the performance and development of a small team. Your expertise in Zuora systems will be crucial as you manage system upgrades, address day-to-day user queries, and resolve system issues. You will contribute to the adoption of Workday as the ERP system and ensure alignment with revenue systems and processes. Your understanding of AI-enabled tools will help improve effectiveness and efficiency, and you will evaluate and implement technology solutions to automate revenue accounting processes. Continuous improvement will be a key focus, as you will develop and implement a comprehensive program for system and process improvements, collaborating with vendors and technology teams on system upgrades and unlocking new features. You will also manage and report on the status and progress of system implementation and upgrade runs, coordinating with cross-functional teams, including IT, Accounting, and Order Management, to monitor project performance and escalate issues to senior stakeholders. Change management will be another critical aspect of your role, as you will develop and implement change management plans to facilitate the adoption of new processes and systems, providing training and support to accounting teams. You will work closely with the US-based accounting teams to support Zuora system behavior queries and troubleshooting during US working hours, and oversee integration checks between Zuora Revenue and ERP to ensure accurate and complete GL impact. Additionally, you will facilitate and contribute towards special projects as necessary.
