About the position

The Senior Manager, Sales Enablement at AffiniPay plays a crucial role in leading sales training, onboarding, and enablement initiatives within the organization. This position is pivotal in enhancing the sales team's performance by ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary tools, resources, and training to close deals effectively and efficiently. The Senior Manager will be responsible for onboarding new sales representatives, developing and maintaining comprehensive enablement training programs, conducting coaching sessions, and supporting ongoing education initiatives. This role requires a natural leader who is proactive and eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment. In this position, you will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to Sales Leadership, collaborating with various go-to-market teams to identify challenges and opportunities. You will accelerate the performance of the sales teams by providing them with the content, resources, and training needed to differentiate and sell AffiniPay solutions effectively. Additionally, you will manage and develop a growing team of enablement specialists, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to succeed. Your responsibilities will include acting as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to drive the development of impactful training and content. You will curate essential materials such as elevator pitches, email templates, and call scripts, while also gathering feedback and insights to continuously improve the enablement strategy. Furthermore, you will design and deliver onboarding and continuous education sessions tailored to various sales roles, ensuring that all sales representatives are proficient in product knowledge and sales processes. This role also involves measuring the effectiveness of sales enablement programs and serving as a subject matter expert on sales skills and methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to Sales Leadership.
  • Collaborate across go-to-market teams to understand challenges and identify impactful opportunities.
  • Accelerate the performance of sales teams by equipping them with necessary content, resources, tools, and training.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop a growing team of enablement specialists.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to develop high-impact training and content.
  • Develop and curate sales enablement content, including elevator pitches, email templates, and call scripts.
  • Gather and relay feedback and insights based on rep performance and call recordings.
  • Design and deliver virtual, in-person, and self-paced onboarding and continuous education sessions.
  • Create and maintain a repository of sales enablement materials such as sales decks and case studies.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of sales enablement investments and programs.
  • Help develop and coordinate sales kick-offs, business reviews, and other revenue-related activities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in sales or sales enablement, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in building and managing a high-performing team.
  • Proven track record of scoping, building, and executing successful enablement programs and content.
  • Demonstrated operational rigor and project management experience in fast-paced environments.
  • Expertise in sales skills and methodologies, with experience in Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, and related tools.
  • Experience with learning management systems and tools, such as Showpad.
  • Excellent communication skills for creating and delivering engaging presentations and training programs.
  • Passion for unlocking individuals' potential through training and enablement.
  • Ability to be energized by both personal work and contributing to team growth.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience delivering sales training and coaching.
  • Experience attaining or exceeding quotas in high-velocity, B2B SaaS sales.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Intercom, ZoomInfo, Klue, and others.
