About the position

The Senior Manager, Sales Engineering at Comcast is responsible for leading the Client/Sales Engineering teams that sell high-capacity Ethernet networks, internet, video, and advanced voice services to various enterprise accounts. This role involves managing a team, providing subject matter expertise, developing processes to enhance sales effectiveness, and ensuring collaboration between teams. The position requires a focus on driving sales growth while maintaining a strong customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Comcast Business Class sales by leading, coaching, and developing a sales engineering team.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve sales effectiveness and reduce cycle time.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for all Comcast Business Service's products and services.
  • Facilitate collaboration between the sales engineering team, National Engineering, and Technical Operations (NETO).
  • Manage external equipment vendor relationships to elevate the knowledge base of field technical teams.
  • Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position Comcast in the marketplace.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience.
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Expertise in sales engineering.
