About the position

As a Senior Manager of Sales Field Enablement at Wood Mackenzie, you will lead the strategy, development, execution, and measurement of go-to-market (GTM) enablement programs. This role focuses on strengthening global GTM teams by partnering with Sales Leadership and other key stakeholders to establish onboarding and ongoing sales training programs, formalize sales readiness progression, and design strategic initiatives that enhance revenue productivity. You will be responsible for ensuring that sales productivity efforts are scalable and that managers and representatives meet their individual, team, and regional goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales Leadership to identify productivity gaps and prioritize key initiatives for global Sales teams.
  • Work with Product and Marketing teams to ensure the Sales team is equipped with the latest product releases and GTM messaging.
  • Effectively launch all quarterly segment plays in collaboration with the global sales play manager.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to measure and improve sales performance.
  • Equip the GTM team with resources such as battle cards, playbooks, and sales collateral.
  • Partner with Sales, Solutions, Success leaders, and Marketing to share knowledge with the sales team.
  • Create Quarterly Enablement Plans to support segment needs and measure the success of each program.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of certification programs and accreditations.
  • Collaborate in the product release process to understand specific product enablement needs and provide timelines for delivery.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in sales or sales effectiveness roles.
  • Strong preference for experience in a fast-growing environment.
  • Deep understanding of sales plays, enablement programs, processes, and methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to hit milestones and drive results.
  • Experience with change management and a passion for helping others succeed in sales.
  • Engaging and capable of delivering inspirational and motivational training sessions.
