About the position

The Senior Manager of Sales Operations, Integration & Planning at Lactalis USA plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of data within the SAP and Vistex Trade Promotion Management (TPM) system. This position is essential for maintaining efficient business operations and requires a strong collaboration across various functions to support the order to cash (O2C) and financial accounting (FI) processes. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with a solid understanding of data management and financial principles to enhance operational efficiency. In this role, the Senior Manager will be responsible for demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the Vistex TPM system, including its functionalities and integration with SAP. The position involves managing and troubleshooting daily issues that may arise within the Vistex TPM system, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure smooth operations. Close collaboration with the IT department is crucial to address technical challenges, implement system enhancements, and ensure that Vistex TPM aligns with the broader IT strategy of the organization. Additionally, the Senior Manager will work closely with end users to understand their needs, provide necessary training, and ensure a positive user experience. Responsibilities also include managing Vistex TPM, documenting and reporting data and system issues, handling month-end accrual processing, and collaborating with product and IT teams to address development and system changes. Monitoring data accuracy in interfaces such as POS and demand planning is also a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the Vistex TPM system, its functionalities, and its integration with SAP.
  • Manage and troubleshoot day-to-day issues that may arise within the Vistex TPM system.
  • Provide timely and effective solutions to ensure seamless operation.
  • Work closely with the IT department to address technical challenges, system enhancements, and integration requirements.
  • Collaborate with end users to understand their needs, provide training when necessary, and ensure a positive user experience.
  • Manage Vistex TPM, troubleshooting daily issues with the sales team.
  • Document and report data and system issues.
  • Handle month-end accrual processing and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with product and IT teams to address development and system changes.
  • Manage and update master data in Vistex.
  • Monitor data accuracy in interfaces (POS & demand planning).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (IT, Business, or similar).
  • 5+ years of experience in sales and trade promotion software.
  • Proven experience with Vistex Trade Promotion Management software, including system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting, preferred.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with IT professionals, end users, and clients.
  • Proficiency in data governance and master data management.
  • Sales and business development acumen with a client-centric approach.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while also being an effective team player.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of trade promotion best practices and an understanding of relevant industries (e.g., consumer goods, retail, manufacturing) is a plus.
